All Regular meetings are held at the McFall Room in the Manteca Public Library located at 320 W. Center Street. Social gathering at 12:30 PM. General meeting starts around 1:00 PM.

What’s Growing On – Save the Dates

No word on when the City will able to open the McFall Room for us to use.

When we do get to meet,  many of us will be wearing our new T-Shirts. With 5 colors available, there should be quite a bouquet of colors when we get together!

Jan. 23rd – Annual Rose Pruning from 9:30 – 11 AM at the Senior Center Rose Garden.  Juice & donuts will be served but coffee must by brought from home.  Masks must be worn other than when eating, and we will be doing social distancing.  A great way for a “Hands On” experience if you’re interested in learning more about pruning. Please bring your own clippers or other tools that may be useful.

Feb. 9th: Valley Lode District ZOOM Meeting.  Sign in: 8:30 – 9 AM, Meeting begins at 9 AM with special speaker, Landscape Architect, Monica Perrone.  Also, silent auction.  Requesting Penny Pines donation to be sent with registration.

Congrats to you, members!  With our last donation to Penny Pines, we have provided more than 50 plantations.  Our latest was specified to go to the Camp Fire area.

 

NURSERIES ARE OPEN!!

Morris Nursery – We are now open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m Daily!

When visiting, please be sure to maintain a 6′ distance and we do ask that you wear a mask. Park only in designated parking spots; Street parking is prohibited! 

In Season Nursery and Market – Hi, we are open regular hours 8 to 5 Monday through Friday, 8 to 4 Saturday, 9 to 4 Sunday. We limit the number of customers in our market at any time to one, we limit the number of customers in our nursery to four. We sanitize all counter tops, basket handles, wagons, counters etc. after each customer.

Alden Lane Nursery – We are happy to be back open 7 days a week from 9:00am to 5:00pm to help with your gardening needs. As a reminder, face coverings are required and we are accepting payment by credit and debit cards.
